CRIOCUUM selectively isolates and chills the fat deposits, controlling the temperature and the application time safely and effectively. CRIOCUUM includes different handpieces that enable you to work on different areas of the body. The applicator generates an adjustable vacuum effect that captures the fatty tissue in its cavity and selectively applies cold to it.

  • The CRIOCUUM treatment reduces unwanted subcutaneous fat in specific areas of the body using the technology of controlled chilling. An adjustable vacuum applicator is used to selectively chill the fatty tissue thereby causing cell apoptosis.

  • Anyone with a build up of localised fat with a BMI of lower than 29 is a good candidate for the CRIOCUUM procedure.

  • The CRIOCUUM technology can be used to treat a patient in sessions of between 40 and 65 minutes. Some patients have the treatment on more than one zone in the same session.

    Bear in mind that the procedure prior to treatment can extend the time required for the session.

  • The number of sessions will vary from I to 3, with an interval between sessions of 6 or 8 weeks, depending on the level of localised fat in the area to be treated.

    Therefore, the specialist at the centre where the treatment is to be carried out will create a personalised plan, designed to achieve the required objectives.

  • For the first 5-10 minutes of the treatment the patient will notice a feeling of intense cold that wears off quickly as the area becomes numb from the cold. As the treatment is so comfortable, the patient can still do other activities like read or listen to music or even have a nap during the treatment.

  • With just one session the results will be visible after three weeks and will be optimal from 2 months onwards after the treatment, although the effect of the CRIOCUUM procedure will last from 4 to 6 months after the start of the treatment.

  • As it is a non-invasive treatment, the CRIOCUUM procedure allows the patient to get on with their daily life straight away.
